HOW IT'S PLAYED
What You Do: There are 4 rounds of the National Hockey League playoffs:
1.) Round 1 (8 matchups)
2.) Conference Semi-Finals (4 matchups)
3.) Conference Finals (2 matchup)
4.) Stanley Cup Final (1 matchup)

For each series of the Stanley Cup playoffs and prior to each round, you will choose who you think will win each of the 15 playoff series that comprise the NHL playoffs.

Each correct selection earns you points based on the points distribution chart in the next two sections.

Bonus Points are also awarded for each correct selection.

Any incorrect selection scores zero points

See "Points Distribution Section" below for how much the point values are for each round
Each round is assigned a different point value awarded for each correct selection made. Below is the breakdown of each round

ROUND 1: 5 points for each correct selection in this round

CONFERENCE SEMIFINALS: 10 points for each correct selection in this round

CONFERENCE FINALS: 15 points for each correct selection in this round:

STANLEY CUP FINALS: 20 points for choosing the Stanley Cup champion correctly

NOTE: Maximum number of points you can earn in the entire pool is 130 points
There are 16 team eligible for the postseason. Each team will be ranked 1 through 8 in their respective conference.

Each entry that selects a team to advance will receive the bonus points equal to that teams seed number if that team wins the series.

EXAMPLE: #8 seed Montreal defeats #1 seed Washington in the first round. If you chose Montreal to win this series, you are awarded 8 bonus points for this series. (8+5=13)

Each series in this pool will follow the same format for awarding bonus points.

If in the Stanley Cup Finals, the 2 teams are ranked the same, no bonus points will be awarded for this round.
Winners: The entry that accumulates the most points after the Stanley Cup is crowned will be declared the winner.

Tiebreaker: Before the Stanley Cup Finals start, when making your selections, you will need to choose the total number of goals scored in the entire Stanley Cup series. The entry that is closest, high or low, wins the tiebreaker and is declared the winner

If there is still a tie after the tiebreaker, the payout will be split among those entries still tied.

SUBMITTING SHEETS
To increase your chances of winning, you may play as many times as you wish. Each entry will be scored separately.

If you would like to play a 2nd or 3rd sheet, please contact the league commissioner at info@primefantasysport.com at signup.
Weekly Picks: You have several options in which to submit your picks each week:

1.) Go to our homepage at www.primefantasysports.com and enter your picks in the "Active Leagues" section.
2.) Send an email with your pick to info@primefantasysports.com

If there is another way you would like to submit your picks each round, please let the commish know and he will try to accommodate

Picks for all entries will be posted shortly after each round begins
Submission Deadline: All picks for each round need to be submitted before the drop of the puck of Game 1 of the first series, whenever that may be. If a series has started and an entry has not submitted picks, no points will be awarded that entry for that series. Selections for the remaining series in that round may be accepted if they are received before the drop of the puck of Game 1 of their respective series.
