2024 NFL Playoffs Pool - Rules

WHAT TO DO:

There are 4 rounds of the NFL Playoffs:

1.) Wildcard Weekend (6 matchups)
2.) Divisional Weekend (4 matchups)
3.) Conference Championships (2 matchups)
3.) Super Bowl (1 matchup)

Each entry will choose who they think will win each of the 13 playoff games that comprise the NFL playoffs.

Entries will also rank each selection using a predetermined list of rankings for each round based on how confident you are in choosing the winner correctly (same as a typical football confidence league). Each week, you may not use the same point value more than once

If you choose the winner correctly, you will receive the points that you assigned for that game.

Any incorrect pick scores zero points

Example: New England vs Indianapolis (Divisional Playoff): You are extremely confident that Indianapolis will win the game, so you choose Indianapolis and assign the matchup a point value of 10. If the Colts win, you receive 10 points towards your overall point total. If the Colts lose, you receive 0 points. The other games follow the same format. See "Points Distribution Section" below for how much the point values are for each round.

POINTS DISTRIBUTION:

Choose a predetermined set of values for each game based on how confident you are of your selection winning. Point values for games increase each week. Below is the breakdown of each round:

WILDCARD WEEKEND:

9 points- Most Confident of the 6 matchups
6 points: 2nd Most Confident
4 points: 3rd Most Confident
3 points: 3rd Least Confident of the 6 matchups
2 points: 2nd Least Confident of the 6 matchups
1 point: Least Confident of the 6 matchups

DIVISIONAL PLAYOFFS:

10 points- Most Confident of the 4 matchups
7 points: 2nd Most Confident
5 points: 3rd Most Confident
3 points: Least Confident of the 4 matchups

CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS:

15 points: Most Confident of the 2 matchups
10 points: Least Confident of the 2 matchups

SUPER BOWL:

25 points: No other option here

IMPORTANT: YOU MUST USE EACH POINT VALUE ONCE IN EACH ROUND AND YOU CANNOT USE THE SAME POINT VALUE MORE THAN ONCE IN THE SAME ROUND.

NOTE: Maximum number of points you can earn in each round is 25 points. 100 points overall

WINNERS/TIEBREAKERS:

The entry that accumulates the most points after the Super Bowl will be declared the NFL Playoffs Pool champion.

As an added bonus, the pool champion will also have their name added to the Wall of Champions for a full year or until they are dethroned, and also added to historical winners on the right hand column of this page.

Tiebreaker: For the Super Bowl, the entry that picks the total points scored of both teams closest to the actual total points score for the game will win any tiebreakers. If there is still a tie after the Super Bowl, the payout will be split among those entries still tied.

MULTIPLE ENTRIES:

To increase your chances of winning, you may play as many times as you wish. Each entry will be scored separately.
